Cashier - Starbread Bakery

Starbread Bakery , Carson - home of the original Señorita bread is hiring for a reliable cashier (morning & closing shifts available)

Job duties consist of (but are not limited to):

- handling cash & card transactions (prior experience using Clover POS system is a bonus!)

- helping assist with baking (putting bread into the oven and filling the proofer as needed)

- refilling products in the front

- keeping the front of the house tidy & clean

Requirements:

- minimum of 1 year of food service experience (please have references on your resume)

- minimum of 2 years of customer service experience which includes handling payment transactions

- cashier shifts are anywhere between 7am-7pm

- must be able to commit to a set schedule and work holidays (non negotiable; we are open 365!)

- must be able to multitask (this is non-negotiable)

- must be a TEAM PLAYER (this is an all hands on deck job and we work better together!)

- must have reliable transportation

Hours are earned, therefore we start all new hires at a part time position and adjust accordingly based on work performance.
