Searching for RNs or LVNs for Home Care

Hello! My name is Hanna Eide, and I am looking for RN or LVN nurses to join my team. I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy type one, which requires assistance with various daily activities due to muscle weakness. I rely on a trach, ventilator, and feeding tube, and use a communication device to speak. Despite these challenges, I am very independent and run a digital art business. I am also a tech enthusiast and enjoy socializing while being mindful of my needs. Currently, I live with my parents and a puppy.

This position may not offer high pay, but it provides a stress-free work environment with flexible hours and will be through a nursing agency.

Available hours:

- Sunday 7 PM to 7 AM

- Tuesday 11 PM to 7 AM

- Possibility of a live-in situation

Responsibilities:

- Suctioning mouth and trach

- Administering breathing treatments

- Dispensing medications and food via G-tube

- Bathing and maintaining trach and G-tube site

- Assisting with restroom use

- Assisting with exercises, applying splints, and positioning

- Helping with changing position and getting into my wheelchair

- Accompanying on outings if necessary

- Cleaning medical equipment

Qualifications:

- Mandatory COVID and flu vaccinations

- Willingness to learn and quick learning ability

- Open-mindedness

- Detail-oriented

- Time management skills

- Physical capability

- Patience

- Flexibility in schedule preferred

- Basic tech proficiency

- Tolerance for loud music preferred

- Animal lover preferred
