Project Manager, Data Science
The Project Manager (PM) leads the Technology programs for EVERSANA Data and Analytics business unit and ensures that the programs, projects and operational components deliver the business benefits and meet EVERSANA’s strategic objectives. The PM will join a team that works on advanced data and analytical  challenges and delivers exceptional services for external and internal clients. The PM oversees the efficient management of projects’ workflow, finances, and resources of assigned teams and aligns with project sponsor on the overall project scope and timeline. The position is responsible for senior executive engagement and reporting on the state and performance of initiatives. Additionally, the position is responsible for oversight of the budget and financial management of the program portfolio.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:Align with business, clinical, and technology stakeholders on analytics strategies and partner with strategic leaders to identify initiatives which can drive significant business value.Manage the intake of such initiatives & client requests to develop proposals with detailed timeline and budget for internal and external clients.  Facilitate the subsequent scoring, prioritizing and conversion of such proposals to projects.Drive program delivery by managing programs/projects in accordance with the applicable program and project governance guidelines, policies, and practices.Lead and/or co-lead cross-functional teams to launch and execute the portfolio of various programs / projects in accordance with the applicable program and project governance guidelines, policies, and practices.Prepare program level analysis and reporting of financial control, resource utilization, risk, change management, unplanned work, etc. Track cost and schedule status/performance and trend analysis. Highlight issues, conflicts, slippages, key milestone movements, etc. Compare planned versus actual/forecasted. Hold self and other deliverable owners accountable to the program targets.Lead review sessions with key stakeholders on program status, value delivery, risk, and proposal pipeline. Partner with stakeholders on business benefit definition and track benefit generation and measurement.Participate in strategic planning for the program portfolio. Translate strategic goals and priorities into technical strategies and objectives for the department.Support PMO activities. Establish, refine, share and extend project management best practices and tools usage. Collaborate with business, functions and other IT teams for adoption and monitor usage.Drive adoption of agile principles to enable teams to deliver exceptional analytic solutions to meet client’s business and research needs.Perform all other duties as assigned.Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.Job Complexities:Work on a diverse range of critical and complex problems of significant scope, where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, an in-depth understanding of current business and technological trends, organizational objectives and political dynamics.Exercise judgment as a seasoned professional and manager with a full understanding of industry best practices and established policies and procedures.
