Business App Consulting - Leadership Role - REMOTE/WE TRAIN

Scott Walls, the founder of SRM+, OraCloud+, The Nocatee Consulting Group, and Panameer.com is starting a new boutique consulting firm focused on Oracle Cloud’s business application technologies. This job post is for the core leadership of that new team. Scott uses a different approach than most, he seeks highly intelligent people and then builds them thru our intensive training program. THE COMPANY:

Beginning Jan 1/2025, we have officially started Strategic ERP, a next-generation, global, remote consulting firm helping businesses dramatically increase the value created by their “back-office” business applications (finance, accounting, HR, inventory, procurement, etc.). We are also pioneering the concept of global “work pods” where our workers have the option to work from our cool, hipster locations like Medellin, Cyprus, South Africa, and more.

THE INDUSTRY:

We design, redesign, and deploy/implement ERP business applications. Applications such as HR, finance, procurement, and supply chain. These applications are used to run the “back office” business functions for thousands of multi-billion-dollar organizations globally. Our clients are a who’s who of the largest global businesses. The tool we focus on is Oracle Cloud.

Oracle Cloud ERP (SaaS) is the clear market leader in the ERP business application space. Almost all businesses globally will be legally required to “move to the cloud” over the next 10 years. This requirement is creating, and will continue to create, millions of high-paying jobs implementing Oracle Cloud ERP applications. THE JOB:

YEAR 1 - You will go through our INTENSIVE boot camp and learn to collaborate with global Fortune 500 multi-national clients to collect business requirements, configure applications, document configurations, and test/train business users on how to use those applications.

More specifically, this role will perform the following functions:

Interact with business stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and capture business requirements.

Configure business applications to meet those requirements/solve problems.

Design business processes, explaining how applications/processes flow.

Present to peers and management.

Create XLS-based test scripts.

Create XLS -based training scripts (similar to above).

Train and support business users in finance, project management, and procurement solutions

Collaborate with other business application consultants.

Create and be a part of a winning TEAM.

YEAR 2 (or earlier for over-achievers) - You will build your brand, your training infrastructure, and your team by doing the following:

- Building detailed training videos (we will load them and build your courses in Panameer.com)

- Building your brand by releasing knowledge collateral via our channels.

- Building your team by hiring/train your team of consultants who will perform your year 1 tasks.

NOTE…this job is a DOER role, not a talker or manager role. We are hard-core, all know the business/applications from the ground up, and very focused on being the best….you should be too. 

THE SKILLS REQUIRED:

Must have a BS or technical degree (med, engineering, business, computers, etc.) w a GPA > 3.5 (B+).

THE SKILLS DESIRED:

Prefer an MBA degree with a GPA > 3.75.

Prefer at least 2 years of post-college, fulltime work experience.

Prefer experience modeling business processes.

Prefer experience w Visio, Microsoft Projects

Prefer a desire to create video content and become an expert in a business area.

Prefer knowledge of US Accounting/GAAP or equivalent.

Prefer ex-Big-4 Experience.

Prefer knowledge of basic business processes (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, etc.).

Prefer application configuration experience.

Prefer packaged application experience.

NOTE: this job does not involve coding, but an understanding of coding is beneficial.

THE WORKING HOURS:

This person will work United States hours - 8AM to 6PM/UTC-3 (United States/Miami/Eastern Standard Time Zone or EST). Most clients prefer a 4-day work week.

THE WORKING LOCATION:

REMOTE. Consultants can work from anywhere there is stable, high-speed internet. Our consultants have the option to work from one of the nocacon “pods” (Panama, Medellin, South Africa, Cyprus, etc.); availability based on space.

THE COMPENSATION:

Depends on Region & Experience (target range is $1,200 - $1,600 USD per week).

This role will be over $200,000 within 2 years

This role will be over $400,000 within 3 years

This role has the potential for partnership in 5-8 years, depending on performance.
