Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Store Associate position is vital to our store’s success, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities. From operating the register and stocking shelves to creating appealing displays, Store Associates ensure every customer enjoys a pleasant, friendly, and informative shopping experience. You may be assigned to work in any department within the store. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain a neat, organized, and clean sales area, support management team with day-to-day store operations.

· Greet and assist customers in locating merchandise in store or advising about available options.

· Run register and/or bag customers purchases.

· Provide engaging and helpful customer service.

· Follow all company policies and guidelines.

· Maintain knowledge of products available in the store.

· Listen to customers and provide useful and appropriate recommendations.

· Work with the rest of the team on the shift to uphold stock levels and maintain a visually appealing and well-organized store.

· Deal with customers’ returns and exchanges in a professional and polite manner.

· Assist store management with inventory procedures.

· Work towards both individual and department KPIs and upsell targets.

· Recommend, slice, weight, package, and price merchandise.

· Ensure that store areas are prepared to serve customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors, disposing of trash, and ensuring that equipment is operational.

· Build and maintain visually attractive displays, shelves, seasonal sales, promotional tables and tasting stations.

· Rotate and restock products as necessary, while also ensuring the maintenance of labels and price tags.

· Operate ovens, slicing machines, and other store equipment in a safe manner, adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

· Assist in maintaining freshness and quality control of products.

· Perform other assigned tasks.
