Job DescriptionLead and manage projects by serving as the design lead, programming lead, or owner's representative on selected projects, ensuring successful project execution. Plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers, fostering collaboration and high-quality outcomes. Regularly meet with clients to define project scope, present progress updates, and ensure client satisfaction. Develop comprehensive PLC architecture designs, including Ethernet, ControlNet, and Remote I/O systems. Create detailed contractor installation and construction packages, including riser/conduit installation drawings, device location plans/elevations, and specifications. Design electrical controls schematics, covering low-voltage power distribution, PLC I/O drawings, and 480V motor 1-line and 3-line schematics. Perform PLC/HMI programming using platforms such as RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, PanelViewPlus RSView ME, Ignition, and Wonderware. Provide on-site electrical system construction and commissioning support, including device/hardware checkout and troubleshooting of PLC/HMI programs.Responsibilities

Provide on-site electrical system construction and commissioning support, including device/hardware checkout and troubleshooting of PLC/HMI programs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

8+ years of related practical experience

Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing (glass, steel, or graphite industry preferred)

Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming experience preferred

Knowledge of project design, cost estimating, and scheduling

Good computer and communication skills

Ability to work and communicate remotely

Work EnvironmentIn office 2 days and remote 3 days. Travel usually varies from 20% to 40% and may include international travel to Latin America or Canada. A valid driver's license is required, which may be waived for international assignments.
