Crane Installer

Responsible for the complete setup and assembly of cranes

Transporting crane and crane components

Positioning cranes accurately

Attach necessary rigging

Perform safety checks

Ensuring the crane is fully operational

Assess the work area, identify anchor points and prepare the ground for crane installation

Assemble crane components according to manufacture’s instructions, including boom sections, outriggers, and counterweights

Connect necessary electrical and hydraulic systems to power the crane

Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to ensure crane is properly spotted for safe operation within load limits of crane.

Inspect cables or grappling devices for wear and install or replace cables, as needed.

Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage

Ensure all required documents such as permits, logbooks, fuel and mileage reports, daily/monthly crane inspection reports, and related paperwork are completed on a requirement basis
