Cougar Excavation LLC is looking for a construction project estimator. The construction project estimator will calculate the cost of a construction project before construction begins. They work with architects, engineers, and vendors to determine the cost of materials, labor, equipment, Etc.

Responsibilities

Research costs: Research the cost of materials, equipment, and labor

Gather quotes: Get quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

Assess risk: Evaluate the level of risk for the project

Create a cost estimate: Compile a list of materials and calculate the estimated cost of the project

Skills

Estimating: The ability to calculate the cost of a project

Communication: The ability to communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors

Technical: The ability to use software to analyze data.
