Tractor & Equipment Operator

This position reports directly to the Farm Operations Director and will be responsible for the following:

Safe and professional operation of large John Deere and Kubota tractors in the field and on roadways.

Able to attach, operate, and remove large three point attachments such as discs, rippers, planters and bed makers.

Responsible for recording run hours and alerting maintenance department of needs as well as keeping the tractor fueled and ready before field work.

Ideal candidate should have working knowledge of 150hp+ tractors, skid steers, combines, ATV’s, pickup trucks with loaded trailers and mini excavators.

Must keep safety as a top priority.

Other farm tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation, a current valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Capable of obtaining a Farm Endorsement on your license

Prior experience with large equipment

CDL-A license is a plus

Able to take direction and work independently as well as with a team.

Able to bend, stand, lift 100 pounds and to sit for long periods of time

Punctual and dependable.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Requires ability to lift 50#, walk, stoop, bend, reach, extend, and crouch.

This is a full-time position located in Powell Butte, OR. Will need to be available on week-ends and evenings during peak season for planting and harvest.
