Barista/Coffee Shop Worker Needed

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Assist with stocking and replenishing inventory as needed

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a barista or in the food industry is preferred

- Proficient in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions

- Knowledge of Square POS system is a plus

- Strong sales skills and ability to upsell products

- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
