Front Desk Associate / Customer Service Position
Are you passionate about tennis, pickleball, and creating a welcoming community? Break Point Tennis & Pickleball is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Front Desk Associate to provide excellent customer service and support our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Opening Duties:
Arrive promptly to open the club, ensuring all areas are ready for member use.
Organize the front desk area with necessary materials, equipment, and cleanliness.
Power on computer systems, lights, and other essential equipment.
Greet and assist members and guests as they arrive, providing a warm, friendly, and helpful environment.
Customer Service & General Duties:
Provide excellent customer service by addressing member needs, answering questions, and resolving any concerns.
Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
Communicate effectively with other team members to maintain smooth daily operations.
Enforce club policies and ensure a welcoming and respectful environment for all members and guests.
Monitor and manage phone calls, emails, and messages, forwarding them to appropriate staff as necessary.
Light Cleaning & Maintenance:
Perform light cleaning tasks, including wiping down surfaces, organizing the front desk area, and ensuring the space remains tidy and welcoming for all members and guests.
Assist with general cleaning duties as needed throughout the day.
Closing Duties:
Ensure the club is secure at the end of the day by following a checklist to lock doors, shut down equipment, and prepare the space for the next day.
Complete any end-of-day reports or logs as needed.
Ensure the front desk and other key areas are clean and organized for the next day’s operations.
Qualifications:
Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills.
A passion for tennis, pickleball, or sports in general is a plus!
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Compensation:
$15/hr

Marketing, Communications, Events, and Membership Coordinator Position
We are also seeking a motivated and creative Marketing, Communications, Events, and Membership Coordinator to help promote our club, engage members, and organize exciting events.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the club’s offerings, including tennis, pickleball, and events.
Manage and update the club’s website, social media accounts, and email newsletters.
Create content (posts, graphics, email campaigns, etc.) to engage current members and attract new ones.
Coordinate with local businesses and organizations for cross-promotion opportunities.
Event Planning & Coordination:
Organize and coordinate club events, including leagues, tournaments, and social gatherings.
Ensure events are promoted effectively to maximize participation and engagement.
Manage event logistics such as scheduling, registration, setup, and post-event follow-up.
Work with staff to ensure events run smoothly and provide a positive experience for all participants.
Membership Coordination:
Oversee membership renewals, sign-ups, and inquiries.
Track member engagement and communicate with members about special promotions, updates, and events.
Address membership-related issues, questions, or concerns in a timely manner.
Work with front desk and other staff to ensure member satisfaction and retention.
Administrative Duties:
Assist with administrative tasks such as processing payments, updating member information, and maintaining accurate records.
Provide reports on marketing campaign results, event attendance, and membership data.
Collaborate with other team members to align efforts and ensure a unified approach to marketing and member engagement.
Qualifications:
Previous marketing, communications, or event planning experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with social media and marketing tools.
A passion for tennis, pickleball, or sports in general is a plus!
