Construction Estimator / Project Manager

Metal Building Company is selectively looking for the next sales/estimating professional to join our team and help us continue our 49 year history of providing quality construction services throughout the greater Bay Area. The candidate will be responsible for sales, pricing, purchasing, solicitation and review of subcontractor estimates, taking field measurements and managing construction projects from start to finish.

Candidate should have:

Successful college experience with receipt of a BA/BS degree. An undergraduate degree in a construction-related field is a plus, however not required.

Some hands-on construction fieldwork experience.

Competency with MS Office software.

Strong initiative and willingness to learn.

Ability to process numerical information with accuracy.

Personable demeanor, with some sales ability.

Ability to prioritize assignments and work on multiple concurrent projects.

Commercial and/or industrial experience preferred but not required.

Pre-engineered steel building and/or sheet metal experience preferred but not required.
