Stretcher/Wheelchair Driver

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated person to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients within the healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

- Safely transport patients to and from various departments within the hospital

- Assist patients onto stretchers or wheelchairs as needed

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during transportation

- Communicate effectively with nursing and medical staff to coordinate patient transfers

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment

Requirements

- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients

- Knowledge of patient care practices and protocols

- Physical ability to lift and move patients when necessary
