Position Name: Project Quality CoordinatorDivision / Function: Projects & InstallationLocation of the Job: Nasarawa, Nigeria with 90% travel across Husk Plants and potential Plant locations.Reports to: COO, dotted line Project ManagerRole SummaryHusk is seeking a Project Quality Coordinator who will oversee the quality assurance and quality control processes for installing mini-grid systems. This role involves ensuring that all installation activities meet the required standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements while promoting best practices within the team.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance Planning:Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management plan for mini-grid installations.Define quality metrics and establish benchmarks for project performance.Monitoring and Evaluation:Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with quality standards.Review installation processes and identify areas for improvement.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.Prepare regular quality reports for stakeholders, outlining findings and recommendations.Training and Development:Provide training to installation team members on quality standards and best practices.Facilitate workshops to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvementStakeholder Collaboration:Liaise with project managers, site leads, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.Act as a point of contact for quality-related inquiries and concerns.Compliance and Standards:Ensure adherence to local, national, and international standards and regulations related to mini-grid installations.Stay updated on industry trends and changes in quality standards.Problem Solving:Investigate and resolve quality issues and discrepancies promptly.Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to avoid recurrence of issues.
