ResponsibilitiesPart-time faculty float pool position (Didactic only; no lab or clinical).Teaching assignment occurs as needed.Class occurs at a campus location in the in-person learning environment. (Online synchronous class may be available as a second option.)Assigned course will align with the faculty’s clinical experience, e.g. adult heath, community health, pediatrics, etc.Must complete an onboarding module and course/curriculum specific orientation to last five to six weeks (approx. 16-18 hours total).Teaches the didactic course content under supervision of course coordinator or other supervisor.Keeps course coordinator or location leader informed of all student and agency issues and concerns.Is available for student remediation as required and needed.Grades and returns course assignments and other required course work in a timely manner.Assumes responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.Evaluates and provides documented feedback to students on level of performance based on course objectives.Implements the University’s philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives in the selected learning environment.Contributes to the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the University.Works with college administration, staff and other faculty members to improve the overall operation of the college and student satisfaction rates.Participates in the implementation of campus retention efforts and departmental and campus policies.Serves as a professional role model for other faculty, staff, and students in the areas of customer service, collaboration, communication, excellence, dress, attendance, and general professionalism.Complies with all applicable regulatory rules and standards.Reports to the dean, teaching and learning.
