Maintenance Technician- Property Management

Busy Ventura Property Management company seeks an entry-level Maintenance Technician I for a part-time position Monday-Friday.

Under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor II & III, the Maintenance Technician I performs a variety of skilled maintenance and repair work on Residential and Commercial rental properties. Responsivities and Duties may include:

-Signs, paints, and maintains all wood and metal signs

-Inventory control, keep account for of signs and inform supervisor of needed orders

-Keep all shops and outdoor perimeter clean and picked up

-Assigned to clean laundry room, trash areas and interior hallways

-Completes basic records such as work and sign orders, time sheets, purchases, and accident reports, makes both oral and written log of work done

-Operates moving vehicle in safe, secure manner, when hauling signs, supplies and trash

-May be assigned semi-skilled electrical, plumbing, locks and keys

-Light carpentry work, assist with door installation, interior trim, etc.

-Install smoke and carbon monoxide detectors

-May be assigned custodial duties

-Perform related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Class C California driver’s license and current Insurance

Minimum 2-Years Construction/Handyman experience required

Property Management experience preferred but not required

Must be team-oriented and self-motivated

Strong written/oral communication skills

Must have a consistent work history and verifiable references

PAY:

Starting $20.00 per hour
