Small Engine Mechanic Needed
Looking for full time small engine mechanic 40+ hours per week
Job Duties
Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on both customer and company owned equipment.
Participates in Service education Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
Maintains current knowledge of Stihl, Wacker Neuson, Kohler and Competitive products.
Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
Completes all work orders and maintenance forms required in conjunction with work assignments
Accounts for all time in the time keeping systems and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
1+ years of experience performing service repairs
Basic working knowledge of 2-stroke, 4-stroke and small diesel engines.
Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual
Procedures
Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of construction equipment.
Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance.
Ability to use basic computer functions, Windows, Microsoft Edge, etc.
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
Valid driver’s license is required
