Business Development - Residential Cleaning Expanding to Commercial

A leading residential cleaning company is seeking a personable, motivated, and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help grow our residential business while spearheading expansion into the commercial cleaning space. In this role, your ability to connect with people and cultivate strong relationships will be essential to identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving our growth across both residential and commercial sectors.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct market research to uncover residential and commercial client needs, potential partnerships, and emerging trends.

- Develop and implement collaborative strategies with stakeholders to drive business growth.

- Develop and implement a strategic growth plan focused on expanding both residential and commercial business operations.

- Build strong relationships with residential property managers, homeowners, and commercial property decision-makers (facility managers, business owners, etc.).

- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and outreach activities, with a balance between residential and commercial prospects.

- Represent our brand at community events, property showcases, and business networking meetings to promote services and increase visibility.

- Conduct service presentations and negotiations, highlighting the value and unique benefits of our eco-friendly, health-focused cleaning solutions.

- Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

- Report on sales activities, progress, and results to management regularly.

Qualifications:

- No college degree is required, but experience in business development, client engagement, or sales is a strong plus.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with people and build long-term relationships.

- Experience in property management, real estate, or a customer service-driven environment is beneficial.

- Strong organizational and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively pitch services to both residential and commercial clients.

- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

- Valid driver's license.
