Therapeutic caregiver $30+ hr, 15-30hrs a week.

Family seeks therapeutic caregiver for 40 year old man disabled by a severe stroke in SF (outer Richmond district) James is quadriplegic and unable to speak but he is able to communicate with an eye-tracking computer. We are looking for a caregiver who can assist James with activities of daily living and therapy. Because of James's severe movement limitations rehab therapy is a part of everything we do. Tasks include help with communication, eating, bathing, elimination, transfers and therapy. You would work with us (mother and brother) until you are able to work independently with James.

Experience is not a must. Engagement and ability to learn is. Ideal for individuals interested in rehab therapy.

The job is physical and engaging.

Shifts most likely would be 4-6 hrs long. Typical shifts run 8-2am or 3-8pm. There is some flexibility for schedules but at least one weekend day is a must.

Pay starts at $30 but we will happily give raises based on ability and performance. Please email if interested
