Automotive Technician/Mechanic

We opened Outland Motors ten years ago and have built a reputation in central Oregon as the place to buy and service your vehicle, with a focus on European imports like Land Rover, BMW, Audi and Porsche.

We are looking for Automotive Technicians to join our team who embrace our mission and the opportunity to work in a great environment. As our Automotive Technician you will diagnose and perform repairs on all vehicle components with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with manufacturer standards.

What You’ll Do:

Perform vehicle inspections, troubleshooting and testing to identify necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance

Accurately diagnose malfunctions and perform the necessary repairs including engine failure, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, replacing parts and components as required

Ensure quality repairs by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems as required

Examine vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended

Document services performed and recommended on the repair order in accordance with operating procedures

Perform services efficiently and according to manufacturer guidelines

Communicate with service advisor if additional work is needed

Ensure customer vehicle is kept clean during repair process

Maintain an organized, clean efficient and safe work area

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
