IT Specialist Intern-Summer 2025

We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy IT Specialist Intern to join our IT department for the Summer 2025 internship program. The intern will assist in providing technical support, managing IT systems, and participating in various IT projects. This role offers valuable hands-on experience with networking, hardware, software, and cybersecurity, providing an opportunity to gain practical knowledge in a real-world environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues for internal teams, providing timely technical supportHelp manage and maintain company computer systems, networks, and serversSupport in configuring and installing software, hardware, and peripheral devicesAssist with the administration of user accounts and access permissionsParticipate in system upgrades, patches, and security updatesConduct basic network troubleshooting (e.g., internet connectivity, network drive mapping)Support data backup and recovery proceduresAssist in maintaining IT documentation, including manuals, FAQs, and knowledge-base articlesCollaborate with the IT team on cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring data protection and system securityContribute to IT projects, including system integrations, cloud services, or automation tasksRespond to and resolve help desk requests and document resolutionsPerform other tasks and duties as assigned by the IT department
