Entry-Level position in Print Shop (Graphic Screen Printing)

Hourly rate of pay starts at $20.76

32-hour work week with Bi-weekly pay

Currently, we are looking for an Entry-Level Print Shop Worker. This is an excellent opportunity for a hard worker interested in developing skills in the professional world of silk-screen printing. The ideal candidate would be dependable, self-motivated to work in a fast-paced workflow, and able to multitask at different jobs. The candidate must demonstrate excellent attention to detail to support the Shop Printer with print quality, registration, color, and production speed. Cross-training opportunities are available. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 32 hours weekly, from 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

About the Position:

Quality Assurance (QA)

Screen Preparation

Offload (rack) pieces

Assist Shop Printer in production

Support Shop Printer & Shipping Department by accurately counting jobs and communicating ‘QC’ Quality Control issues

Regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs.

Work/communicate daily with all shop members in all aspects of the shop needs

Fill in as needed around the shop

Areas of Cross-Training:

Screen stretching

Operate industrial paper cutter to cut down jobs to exact specifications

Receive and stock shipments

Check and maintain the accuracy of inventory

Create and pack boxes and pallets for safe shipment

Process and print out packing slips for boxes/pallets

Create/process domestic and international paperwork for shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS)
