Executive Director

Roles and Responsibility: The Executive Director is the chief administrator of Butte County Local Food Network (BCLFN), which is a community-based non-profit agency supporting food sovereignty in Butte County. Responsibilities include overall administration of the agency including financial management, budgeting, program development, fundraising, public relations, grant writing, and employee hiring and supervision.

Qualifications:

A minimum two years of Executive Director experience or, five years of experience in a community services delivery system, including at least two years in a management or supervisory position.

Knowledge of local food systems, gardening practices, and disadvantaged communities
