Are you passionate about helping others unlock their full potential? Do you have the skills to guide adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities toward achieving their goals? If so, we want you to join our team!

We are currently looking for a Personal Development Coach to assist and inspire individuals in our Independent Living Skills Program. As a coach, you’ll help adults with developmental disabilities gain the skills and confidence they need to thrive in their personal and professional lives.

Meet some of the amazing individuals you’ll be working with:

One participant is ready to take his culinary passion to the next level and launch his very own food truck. He needs guidance on both cooking techniques and business management. As his coach, you’ll help him enhance his cooking skills, understand business logistics, and work through the steps to make his dream a reality

Another participant is a passionate artist who expresses himself through art. He’s also dedicated to staying active at the gym. He’s looking for a coach who can help him integrate his love for art with his fitness routine, providing guidance on goal-setting, building confidence, and nurturing his creative side.

The third is embarking on a new health journey and is determined to improve his fitness and well-being. He needs support creating a sustainable health plan, learning how to set and achieve goals, and building positive habits. As his coach, you’ll guide him on his path to healthier living and inspire him to reach his personal wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with individuals to identify their personal goals and create customized action plans.

Provide coaching in various areas such as cooking, business, art, fitness, and health.

Foster independence, self-confidence, and life skills through one-on-one coaching and support.

Offer consistent motivation and encouragement to help individuals achieve their goals.

Assist with problem-solving and overcoming challenges along the way.

Qualifications:

Experience in coaching, mentoring, or working with adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities is preferred.

Knowledge or experience in areas like cooking, business, art, fitness, or health coaching is a plus.

Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

Strong communication skills and the ability to tailor support to each individual’s unique needs.

Clean Driving record, vehicle inspection and pass fingerprints.
