Countertop Installer

American Marble, a well-established natural stone, quartz, and solid surface manufacturing company, has been a leader in Southern California for over 35 years. We specialize in high-end commercial and residential projects, offering top-tier fabrication and installation services. We're looking for experienced Installers who are dedicated to maintaining our high standards of quality and craftsmanship to join our team.

Essential Functions:

Install custom slab countertops on both commercial and residential job sites with skill and precision.

Read and interpret drawings, take accurate measurements, and perform detailed field cuts that meet project specs.

Lead an on-site installation team, ensuring deadlines are met and safety protocols are followed.

Effectively communicate with clients, building superintendents, installation crews, and project managers to ensure top-quality results.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years installation experience.

Strong and effective communication skills.

Basic mathematical and measurement skills (using a tape measure).

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Proficient in stone finish work, installation, and demonstrated experience using all hand and power tools used to install countertop materials.

Dependable with strong work ethic

Ability to lift and carry in excess of 75 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

Team player, positive, enthusiastic and motivated self-starter.

Ability to work in teams and independently, managing time effectively.

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and out of town when needed.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

OSHA Training 10 hour or 30-hour course preferred.

Salary and Benefits Package:

DOE – Depending on Experience

Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift
