Bonsai Nursery Apprentence

1st position:

We need help in our Bonsai Nursery. You would be responsible in all aspects of a garden nursery. Duties will include keeping the grounds clean and free of weeds, taking out the garbage and yard waste. Fixing as well as pressure washing the ground cover, moving boxes of pottery. You will learn how to setup a water system, trim, weed, and pot bonsai. Also help in creating new baby bonsai through cuttings, style bonsai as well. You will learn as much as you can absorb. Clean driving record a must, there is no smoking in the nursery.

2nd position:

We need temporary help in sales. Every year we participate in the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival at Disney World. You would need your own transportation. The position is from March 5th to April 27th. We run one shift during the weekdays 3:00 pm to 9:00pm Monday through Friday and two shifts on Saturday and Sunday 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm You will be allowed to drive onto Disney's backstage and also enter the park on your days off as well to enjoy the park. Your responsibilities will be to restock the shelves, keep the shelves clean and water the plants as well as talk with guest about the plants. You will need to learn and recognize the plants we have. The sales skills are mostly to talk with the guest and the more knowledge you know the better you can sell. It is not a hard sale where you are in the guest face just make them fell comfortable. If your not sure about a plant it is best not to lie just be honest. There will be information sheets and signs there to help you.
