Dental Hygienist - Full Time or Part Time

We are a patient centered private PPO practice looking to add a member to our team! Every patient is treated like family and we go above and beyond to ensure they are treated with compassion and care. We are looking for someone friendly and reliable, who has passion for dentistry and is looking be part of a supportive & positive team.

Responsibilities:

Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination

Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis

Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)

Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing and flossing techniques)

Take X-rays

Assist dentist in performing dental examinations and other procedures

Sterilize dental instruments properly

Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Skills:

Experience as Dental Hygienist. New Grads are Welcome!

In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)

Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment

Outstanding communication skills

A patient and friendly personality

Attention to detail

Valid Nevada Dental Hygiene License to practice
