Material Handler/Shipping & Receiving
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support material handling functions, including receiving, shipping, and stockroom management.
Perform inventory cycle counts, including creation, updates, execution, and analysis to ensure accuracy.
Execute material transactions using scanning functions, including pulling and issuing materials.
Identify, resolve, and determine the root causes of inventory discrepancies, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
Conduct inventory transactions and reporting for customer-owned inventory when required.
Collaborate with departmental supervisors, support functions, buyers, program management, and other key stakeholders.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in material handling or a related field, with a strong ability to learn and apply material transaction concepts.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to focus on tasks and follow specific job instructions accurately.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while effectively interacting with program managers, buyers, and customers.
Physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
