Graphic Designer and Project Manager

Company intro:

Sign Select is a signage manufacturer that specialized in fully custom made-to-order signage including LED illuminated letters, neon, awnings, vestibules, and more. Sign Select has been in business for over 20 years. We’re looking for someone with graphic design experience and the willingness to learn the hands-on aspects of sign production.

Key Responsibilities:

- To Start: Learn how to use a vinyl plotter, large format printer, and CNC router. Using these tools, cut vinyl decals and paint masks, print banners and vinyl wraps, and cut acrylic and aluminum sheets for the fabrication team to produce dimensional signage.

- Once this training is completed, you will begin taking over the responsibilities of graphic design and eventually project management. Create designs for signage and incorporate customer-provided logos into shop drawings for production. Prepare Illustrator files for printing and CNC routing. Handle phone and email requests from clients, and design signage for them on our production proof template. Communicate with the production team to make sure signage designs are producible, and once a design is approved, work with the production team to keep the project on track and installed.

What We’re Looking For:

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

- Fluent in English

- Previous experience in the sign industry is a plus

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and take initiative once fully trained
