The Machinist role primarily performs daily activities of the Machinist department, ensuring internal and external customer goals are achieved from the company. The machinist will work closely with the lead and plant supervisor to resolve problems. Great communication skills, and attention to detail are important to success in this role.

Key Functions:

Daily Machinist Activities

Ensure requests are filled on time and returned to the correct location, in good condition and to specifications.

Maintain machine shop operational standards

Deliver supplies and equipment to departments by internal transferring machined items.

Communicate and collaborate with supervisor and leads

Listen to tasks assigned

Maintain strong internal relationships within the machinist department

Provide outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Complete tasks assigned in a timely manner

Complete tasks assigned to the quality expectations of supervisors

Clean and follow all safety rules necessary to your role
