Office Assistant
We are seeking a self-driven and organized office assistant to join our Let's Go Chiropractic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our chiropractic office. Responsibilities:
- Assist chiropractors and other medical professionals including scheduling appointments, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining patient records.
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, handling all front desk duties, including answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and taking payments.
- Prepare and maintain patient files, including coding and filing medical records.
- Perform medical receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments, handling insurance claims, and managing patient billing.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with chiropractors and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized medical office, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Utilize 10-key typing skills to accurately and efficiently input patient data into our electronic health records system.
- Provide administrative support to the chiropractic team, including preparing correspondence and managing office supplies.
- Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient care, with a focus on providing a positive and welcoming experience for all patients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a medical office or chiropractic setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical coding and medical office software.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong typing skills, including 10-key typing.
- A commitment to patient care and a passion for working in a healthcare environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 hrs per week
Experience:
