Experienced Litigation Paralegal (North Central San Antonio)

R L WILSON LAW FIRM is seeking an experienced paralegal to assist in our busy Real Estate and Water related litigation practice.

NOTICE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH LITIGATION MATTERS IN TEXAS. This is a full-time position to be performed onsite in our office located in north central San Antonio, TX.

Primary Duties:

The paralegal will be responsible for assisting with drafting and responding to written discovery, performing computerized legal research, drafting pleadings/motions/orders, communicating with clients, opposing counsel and court staff, electronic filing preparation of materials for hearings and depositions, tracking and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a high energy, enthusiastic, results-oriented team player!

At least 5 years' experience performing civil litigation work in a Texas law firm

Experience in Legal Research, Drafting Pleadings and Motions

Experience communicating with opposing counsel, clients and court staff

Excellent telephone demeanor

Ability to regularly work a 40-hour workweek

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and writing skills (punctuation and spelling skills are critical)

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Attorney handles civil cases with emphasis on real estate litigation. There will be no family, injury or criminal cases.
