Bookkeeper/Office Manager Part-time for Contractor
We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our construction company.
- Financial
Manages A/P, A/R and P/R by accurately posting
information in the accounting system (Sage 100)
Prints job costing reports for Project Managers as requested
Sets up and maintains accounting files and records
Review A/R & follow collection procedures as needed
Assures all change orders are posted to accounting system and that all are signed by clients
Interacts efficiently with in house and outside accounting professionals
- Administrative
Administers contracts and subcontracts
Assists in procuring bids from trade contractors by due dates
Keeps all trade insurance certificates, licenses, workers compensation certificates and lien releases on file and current
Puts various insurances annually out to bid (workers compensation, liability, auto) and makes recommendations to President
Responsible for maintaining and updating company’s book of incorporation and operations manual
Filing and archiving of various company information
- Human Resources
Responsible for assuring company is in compliance with state and federal employment regulations
Maintains personnel files
Assists with the hiring process including recruiting, reference checks and scheduling interviews
Assists with company new employee orientation process
RESULTS EXPECTED:

COMPUTER EXPERIECE:
MS Word, Excel, Outlook and knowledge of Sage 100 or other construction software preferred
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years experience with a construction company
Bilingual capability a plus
