Job description:
Document management: Organizing and filing legal documents, including contracts, correspondence, and court filings.
Calendar management: Scheduling appointments, court dates, depositions, and client meetings.
Client communication: Answering client calls, providing updates on case status, and collecting necessary information.
Preparings legal forms and standard legal documents under attorney supervision.
Case preparation: Gathering relevant case information, compiling/organizing files, and assisting with litigation preparation.
Administrative tasks: Copying documents, scanning, mailing, and maintaining office supplies.
Billing support: Tracking billable hours and preparing invoices.
Skills and qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic understanding of legal terminology and procedures
Paralegal certificate or relevant legal experience preferred
