FULL TIME SUPERVISOR/SERVER. Paid Vacation. Saturdays/ holidays off.
We are a private 34 seat restaurant, which includes an outdoor courtyard and various amenity spaces. We are located in the iconic building, 15 Central Park West.
The Candidate should be:
-Passionate about food and beverages trends and best practices and local health & safety compliancy regulations
-Eager to learn more about the hospitality industry, food, and business side of it.
-A high level of energy and passion for service, people and quality.
-Represent the restaurant team and greet guests.
-Opening / Closing procedures.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively
-Good with memorizing faces and names.
-Help the team through the service.
-Being attentive to the details and guest needs.
-Editing/ creating menus in Canva;
-Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items, set ups and flow of service.
-Familiarity with Adobe, Excel, and Word would be helpful.
-Manage stressful situations and ever-changing expectations with ease and grace.
-Ability to communicate with managers and hourlies efficiently.
Events:
Assisting event manager with planning and supervising the events.
Supervising the external staff for events if needed.
Organize/maintain the in-house inventory of equipment.
Creating BEO with event information provided.
