We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to review construction drawings, organize design directives, communicate effectively with the drafting team, and ensure drawing accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel detailing and construction documentation, with a keen eye for precision and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Review architectural and structural construction drawings to extract relevant information for steel detailing.

Interpret project specifications and ensure adherence to industry codes and standards.

Organize and distribute design directives to the drafting team according to our standards.

Communicate effectively with drafters, engineers, and project managers to ensure alignment on design requirements.

Conduct thorough quality control checks on shop and erection drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Identify and resolve discrepancies or conflicts in drawings before fabrication.

Collaborate with project stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution from design to installation.

Interact with the general contractor to coordinate steel with other subcontractors and consider project timing.

Keep organized internally to release production to the shop and coordinate the timing of trucks.

Best Candidate:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in steel design or detailing.

Proficiency in Bluebeam, Tekla or similar software.

Good understanding of structural and miscellaneous steel components.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
