Job Description: We are seeking an experienced painter to join our team for a prevailing wage job. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of painting experience and a strong track record of delivering high-quality work. As a painter at Mountain Ridge Painting, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards. This position requires passing a background check and fingerprinting. Our projects are primarily commercial, with some residential work, so experience in both areas is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.

· Perform paint prep work, including masking, covering, and protecting surfaces.

· Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

· Complete all aspects of painting, including touch-ups, repairs, and finishing work.

· Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in a timely manner.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

· Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years of painting experience.

· U.S citizen

· Be able to pass a background check and fingerprint

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent time management and organizational skills.

· Good communication skills.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

· Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting for prevailing wage projects.

· Experience in both commercial and residential painting work is essential.

· Must have their own painting tools.

· Must have steel toe boots.
