Horse Ranch Help – LABORER Needed
IMMEDIATE Help Wanted. STRONG, smart, honest, hard working LABORER needed for Private Horse Ranch maintenance. Duties include animal care & feeding, cleaning pens, ranch chores, construction projects and maintenance. Work can be quite dirty, muddy and sometimes extremely PHYSICAL,… so NO lazy, physically weak or dishonest people need inquire, and will NOT be tolerated. Workers must be willing and able to work on their feet for several hours, easily lift 35-70 pounds and sometimes stack 90-100 pound hay bales. MUST fluently speak and understand English, follow simple instructions, finish assignments PROMPTLY, learn and follow set procedures, and complete multiple projects everyday without direct supervision. This is a working horse ranch, and you must be tuned-in, alert, and paying attention at all times,… and no excessive talking, texting, outside phone calls, games, horse-play, or any other non-productive B.S. will be tolerated at any time,… PERIOD!
Workers MUST be ready, able and willing to perform very physical outdoor work as needed, in any weather, including walking, bending, lifting, digging, etc Ranch helpers should be familiar with basic hand and power tools like shovels, rakes, chainsaws, post hole digger, hammers, drills, saws, tape measure, etc We are a “Private Family Farm,” and NOT a regular “9-to-5 Business.” This is currently a part-time temporary position, usually requiring 4-6 hours a day. Once you prove you can do all the necessary work correctly and promptly, qualified candidates will probably be able to pick and choose their own work schedule days and times, and will be totally responsible for assigned work they agree to perform. Upon work completion, you will be paid weekly, issued a 1099 at years end, and you will be responsible for your own income reporting and taxes, if applicable. We need a hard-working, prompt, quick learning, skilled, honest, trustworthy person,… and anyone without those basic required traits, need not apply.
We need help immediately, and workers will be evaluated regularly on their performance, attitude, physical and mental skills, and their ability to learn and perform daily work projects promptly and correctly. No prior Ranch or animal experience is necessary, but it is a definite PLUS. We are willing to train the right person, and will consider advantages of your past work experience and abilities, such as the ability to do electrical, construction, auto or equipment mechanical work, etc Once we are satisfied you are honest, trustworthy, can perform all the required tasks promptly, correctly, and without direct constant Supervision,… Qualified workers can pretty much choose their own work schedule, including days and start times. During evaluation period, we start pay at $17-$18 per hour, based on current ability and prior experience. We pay by check weekly, usually on Friday or Saturday, depending on projected work schedules. We are a no-nonsense private farm, and we want serious people & serious inquiries ONLY.
