Fleets are our future, representing a significant portion of vehicle sales and continual expected growth.In this positionAs a Strategic Consultant, you will be a key architect in shaping the future of our fleet management solutions, playing a pivotal role in advising clients on optimizing their operations, reducing costs, and achieving their strategic objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex fleet management challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs. You will leverage your deep understanding of fleet management best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies to empower clients to make data-driven decisions that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients navigate the evolving landscape of fleet management, ensuring they remain competitive and achieve their long-term goals.What you'll doClient Engagement & Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, challenges, and goals within the context of fleet management.
Conduct client meetings, workshops, and presentations, effectively communicating complex information and solutions clearly and concisely.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and insights to help clients achieve their fleet management objectives.
Partner with the Account Management team to develop business review presentations that effectively communicate the value of our fleet management program, empowering them to leverage insights for upselling opportunities and driving client satisfaction.
Strategic Consulting & Solution Development:
Analyze client data, industry trends, and market dynamics to identify key opportunities and areas for improvement within fleet operations.
Develop and present customized strategic recommendations and solutions tailored to meet client-specific needs and challenges.
Leverage your expertise in fleet management best practices, technology trends, and cost optimization strategies to design comprehensive solutions.
Business Process Optimization:
Assist clients in identifying and implementing process improvements within their fleet operations, including life cycle cost analysis, model year planning, optimal replacement, ICE to BEV analysis, budgeting, and other financial analysis.
Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve fleet performance metrics.
Utilize benchmarking data to provide clients with actionable recommendations that drive improvements in their fleet efficiency, cost management, and overall performance.
Technology & Innovation:
Stay abreast of emerging fleet management technologies and solutions, including telematics, , predictive maintenance, and electric vehicle integration.
Help clients unlock the value of advanced fleet management technologies by providing expert advice on adoption and implementation, driving improvements in efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
Project Management & Execution:
Manage and oversee strategic consulting projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation of solutions.
Work collaboratively with internal teams, including data analysts, engineers, and implementation specialists, to execute project deliverables.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and potential growth opportunities within the fleet management sector.
Leverage market insights to inform strategic recommendations and solutions for clients.
You'll have
3+ years of experience working for a Fleet Management Company; highly motivated, self-starter who can think creatively and operate in a dynamic white space environment, specifically concerning solution development.
Bachelor's degree is required (Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar business discipline is preferred)
Prior fleet management services experience is required.
Even better, you may have
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar business discipline is preferred
MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
Experience in sales support and pre-sales activities is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills for building client relationships and effectively communicating with other team members.
Willingness and ability to travel to attend meetings and meet with fleet customers and dealers.
Ability to comfortably manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources under tight deadlines
Crisp, insightful oral- and written-communication style and able to summarize, using data & supporting narrative across multiple formats
Ability to effectively navigate, collaborate, & communicate across cross-stakeholder teams and Subject Matter Experts within IT and Business/Operations. Must be adept at influencing across various levels of the organization and storytelling to highlight value and inspire action.
Passionate about using data to drive operational excellence and improve the customer experience; high orientation to detail & data accuracy and supporting new ways of working to create better data and insights
