HVAC Project Manager/Estimator Wanted

HVAC Project Management : Must be able to show 2 years minimum experience in this type of position. Although we appreciate your interest, only qualified candidates will be contacted. This is a Full Time Position. Pay will be dependent on your experience/qualifications.

You must have a good DMV record.

You must have the following skills:

Some College Encouraged

Must have construction office and/or field management experience.

Understand job specifications.

Have thorough knowledge of what submittals are and can demonstrate you are familiar with these types of documents.

Must be able to read plans.

Must have strong computer skills & be proficient using Excel and Word. Master Library Skills a plus.

Must be organized and pay attention to details.

Strong follow through

Must be experienced with schedules.

Candidate should not be shy, should show that time is of the essence, be able to talk to PM’s & foremen and get results.

Ideal person should be able to show and detail the process for submittals & tracking progress.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Coordinate & supervise HVAC Construction projects from inception to completion

Interact with owners and general contractors to develop strong business relationships

Ability to work under guidance, direction and discretion of Management

Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers

Manage project team, including field foremen

Attend weekly job meetings on site

Prepare change order proposals

Release and schedule equipment deliveries

Create and maintain project timelines and provide routine status updates

Support team management in execution of projects

Review and approve invoices and contractor requisitions

Develop and maintain Submittal Log, RFI Log and Change Order Log

Work overtime when necessary to maintain schedules or deadlines
