We are a well-established solar company in New York with an immediate opening for a Lead Solar Foreman. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in rooftop solar installations, a strong electrical background, and the leadership skills necessary to manage crews while ensuring top-quality, safe installations.

Job Description:

- Lead and supervise a crew of solar installers to complete residential rooftop installations

- Perform and oversee electrical wiring in accordance with local codes and safety standards

- Coordinate closely with project managers and other teams to meet deadlines and ensure a smooth workflow

- Conduct on-site troubleshooting, problem-solving, and quality assurance

- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site

- Train and mentor new team members on best practices and safety protocols

Requirements:

- Proven experience in rooftop solar installations and electrical work

- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a crew

- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions

- Strong understanding of electrical systems and local code requirements

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment

- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
