Compensation: $25.65/hour (plus $0.50/hour for bilingual Spanish)
Hours: Temporary on call, Planned schedule for 40 hours/week, 7:00 am-3:30 pm

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a temporary position planned for 12 weeks. This role will provide technical support and expertise for agency-wide repairs and maintenance of buildings, storage facilities, machinery, equipment, outside areas such as lawns, flower beds, playgrounds, and parking lots. This position may also assist with remodels and installations, minor plumbing and electrical repairs and maintenance as needed, and provides support services such as moving office furniture, supply delivery, and other tasks as needed.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to pass lifting and carry test of 50 lbs. (post offer, pre-employment) required
Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in repair and maintenance of equipment, furniture, fixtures, facilities, and grounds required
Knowledge of basic operations, tools and terms used in building maintenance work, and worksite safety protocols required
Knowledge/experience in construction preferred
Head Start parent or past parent preferred
Daily standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, and stooping while executing various tasks required
Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment:
Valid driver’s license
Proof of current auto insurance
Satisfactory criminal background check
Access to reliable transportation
Within 60 days of hire, Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification is required
Above certifications must be kept current to remain employed
