Executive Director, Alaska Trollers Association

ATA is seeking an exceptional, self-motivated person with strong communication skills to manage the day-to-day operations of a non-profit corporation representing commercial hook and line salmon fishermen. ATA's mission is to preserve, promote, and perpetuate the troll industry in Alaska. We work for conservation, sound management, good public policy and economically healthy rural communities.

The ATA Executive Director is responsible for all aspects of the organization and works at the direction of a 11 person Board of Directors. This position requires the use of MS OFFice and Quickbooks Pro.

Responsibilities: (1) office administration, (2) membership and fundraising, (3) industry research and outreach to management agencies and regulatory bodies, (4)correspondence and newsletters, and (5) functioning as ATA's primary spokesperson with the public and media.
