Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner
The Opportunity: The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for creating and monitoring programs to attract and retain the highest quality workforce. This role will consist of combining traditional recruiting techniques with the latest trends in the market to create and grow relationships for long-term engagement. The TAS will have direct access to hiring managers while working closely with Smurfit WestRocku2019s talented recruiting and sourcing teams building pipeline strategies to attract the exceptional talent. Additionally, this role will serve as a first line ambassador to candidates by filtering, screening, and actively engaging talent. To be successful in as a TAS, it will require someone with manufacturing and engineering expertise, ability to be a great people manager or team leader, action oriented, and brings creativity and thought leadership to developing the right hiring solutions to support the hiring agenda.How you will impact Smurfit WestRock: Business Excellence
Utilize pipelining/direct sourcing techniques and full cycle recruiting knowledge proactively to mine resumes and engage potential candidates
Serve as an external employment market expert, advising on trends and availability of talent in identified markets, as well as hiring needs and recruiting practices of talent competitors
Create and implement a staffing business strategy that will serve as the framework for achieving an annual hiring plan that emphasizes quality of hires, process efficiency, and candidate satisfaction
Evaluate skill level, conduct efficient and professional interview process, and drive offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations and negotiations, and closing of candidates
Analyze recruiting data and internal recruiting performance metrics to recommend improvements to recruiting strategies
Utilize talent management systems to input job specifications and create the job requisition and posting for the role and track candidate status updates
People and Culture
Partner with HR and internal business leaders to help shape the direction of Smurfit WestRocku2019s recruiting strategy by surfacing trends and driving impactful initiatives
Communicate effectively with Smurfit WestRock Talent Acquisition leaders, hiring managers, and interview teams to share and exchange information with all levels of management
Manage candidates through Smurfit WestRocku2019s hiring process, maintaining a focus on excellent candidate experience throughout the process
Serve as a talent consultant to help hiring managers understand the staffing needs across all levels
Strengthen Smurfit WestRock's core staffing capabilities, address specific skill needs, and enhance the bench of talent
What you need to succeed:
Required: 7 to 10 years of corporate recruiting in engineering, operations, or manufacturing recruiting roles full cycle recruiting process experience
Preferred: Pulp and Paper manufacturing; heavy industrial background
Required: Bacheloru2019s degree
Preferred: HR related or Business Bacheloru2019s degree
