Hiring: Administrative Assistant – Construction
Location: Downtown Oakland, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Weekends as needed)
Pay: $30–$32/hour
Benefits: $400/month health stipend, $70/month cellphone reimbursement
A growing construction company is looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to help manage daily operations. This role requires strong organization, scheduling, and project coordination skills. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage crew schedules and coordinate meetings with potential clients.
Track incoming leads and maintain an updated project pipeline.
Source and coordinate materials for job sites, including occasional pickups.
Keep financial records organized, including receipts, invoices, and accounts receivable.
Ensure documentation and project files are accurate and up to date.
Assist with client communication and maintain strong relationships.
Attend 1–2 weekly meetings to review progress and project updates.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Excel and data management.
Experience in construction or project management is a plus.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
Valid driver’s license for occasional material pickups.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
This is an in-office position based in Downtown Oakland, with occasional remote weekend availability as needed.
