Compassionate Caregiver

Looking for a compassionate and caring Caretaker. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Personal care: Assist with bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and grooming.

Medication: Administer medication as prescribed by a doctor

Mobility: Help with moving in and out of bed, wheelchairs, and cars.

Meals: Prepare nutritious meals, and hydration. Must know how to cook American, and Mexican food.

Household tasks: Help with grocery shopping, housecleaning, laundry and other errands.

Transportation: Take clients to medical appointments and other places.

Health monitoring: Monitor health and wellbeing, and report changes on log.

Companionship: Provide companionship and a listening ear at all times.

Communication: Communicate with medical staff, and family members.

Other duties: Develop behavior assessments, Ensure clients are exercising and eating balanced meals, Assist with incontinence, Provide safety supervision, and communicate with other caregivers which are also family members.

Must possess a valid DL w/ clean record, and have own reliable vehicle. Must Provide current DMV report.

Must provide letters of recommendation from previous employers

Must have up to date First Aid and CPR cert prior to 1st day of work

Must provide a clean Bill of Health

Must have HS diploma or equivalent

Starting pay to be discussed, and depending on experience.
