Industrial Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionComplete both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment including stamping presses, assembly equipment, robotic welders, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Seeking someone who can repair rather than just replace equipment.Responsibilities
Open and close factory securely and safely.
Start, stop, and operate facilities, utilities, and production-related equipment.
Operate production-related equipment for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Maintain all facility assets, systems, structures, and grounds in a safe, professional manner.
Perform equipment emergency or breakdown repairs as instructed.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance procedures as instructed.
Perform equipment modification, rebuilds, overhaul, and upgrades as directed.
Identify, report, and correct equipment deficiencies.
Identify and report equipment safety and environmental-related deficiencies.
Relocate, fabricate, modify, or repair new or existing assets to meet company intent.
Conduct duties in a safe and responsible manner, knowledgeable of OSHA requirements and compliance.
Complete documentation as required by the organization.
Housekeeping and 5S responsibilities as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
5 years industrial maintenance experience if no Associates degree
2-3 years industrial maintenance experience with Associates degree
Multi-skilled (electrical and mechanical skills)
PLC experience (hooking up with laptops)
Robotic experience would be a plus, specifically Fanuc robots
Weld cell experience is a plus
Basic knowledge and skills in welding and fabrication
Basic knowledge and skills related to machining
Strong knowledge and experience with electrical/electronic circuits, sensors, PLC, CNC, and other control systems
Strong knowledge in the use of electrical meters, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge, operations, and repair experience with pneumatic circuits, components, and control systems
Strong knowledge, operations, and repair experience with hydraulic circuits, components, and control systems
Strong knowledge of industrial equipment safety requirements and systems
Ability to operate forklifts, booms, and scissor lifts
Prefer individuals with a formal technical education in electrical/electronics technology, mechanical or maintenance technology
Prefer individuals with a minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance experience
Must successfully pass an internal Maintenance Technician Skills Test
Must be team-oriented
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required
Ability to perform duties utilizing current company software applications
