Mig Welder

Responsibilities:

- Perform MIG welding tasks according to project specifications and blueprints

- Operate and maintain welding equipment

- Fabricate and assemble metal components using various welding techniques

- Read and interpret schematics, and standards to ensure compliance with quality and safety guidelines

- Conduct inspections of welded joints to identify any defects or imperfections

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet production goals

- Must be able to lift heavy objects when necessary.

- Must be self driven and have a sense of urgency to get jobs done in a timely manner with a high degree of detail and precision.

- Must be able to work individually as well as with a team.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a MIG Welder

- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG welding

- Familiarity with various hand tool, saw, drill press

- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds

- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and techniques

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Must have a valid drivers license and be punctual to work.

- Ability to drive truck pulling trailer, operate lifts, other basic machinery experience is a plus

- Flexibility to assist metal building installers on site with build as well as on-site welding

You will be asked to perform a welding test as well as demonstrate basic math and measurement skills.
