We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Associate to join our team and ensure our restaurants are well-maintained and fully operational.

Job Summary: The Facilities Associate will be responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance, and repairs of our group of restaurants. This role requires a versatile individual with a broad range of skills in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of all our restaurant facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of all restaurant facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural elements.

Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize disruption to restaurant operations.

Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for larger repair projects and specialized maintenance tasks.

Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for maintenance tasks.

Implement and adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure the longevity and efficiency of all equipment and facilities.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Assist with setup and breakdown of restaurant spaces for events and special functions.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.

Provide support for emergency maintenance situations as needed.

Communicate effectively with restaurant managers and staff to address maintenance needs and priorities.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.

Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.

Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call hours as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as required.

Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings.
