Body & paint work needed f/84 Bronco II restoration
Alaska, Anchorage / mat-su , 99501 Anchorage / mat-su USA

Looking for someone who can take over finishing the body and paintwork on a restoration project. Recently hired someone who got as far as removing the doors/hood and about 30-40% of the sanding done. Guy does excellent work, but unfortunately there have been too many no-shows and failure to keep his word, so I need to find someone who shows up when they say they’re going to, and bring this project over the finish line. I have a sand blaster, but in terms of tools you’ll need to supply everything else. We’ve turned my garage into a makeshift body shop and intended on turning it into a makeshift paint studio by hanging Visqueen and painting in sections.

There are a couple of minor dents in the hood that will need to be smoothed out and there’s a section of lower quarter panel that he finished a weld on that will need to be smoothed out, but other than that, it’s really just sanding and paint. Paint job will be simple a semi or high-gloss black.

It does run, but I really don’t want to have to put the doors and hood back on to try and take it anywhere. I’d consider having it towed to you if you have a shop but would prefer the project be completed in my garage.

There are a few minor mechanical things I need done as well, so if you’re also handy that way, all the better.

This has been a labor of love 2 years in the making. I had the interior completely renovated, and it has a brand new motor in it. Just trying to get her back to looking right.

Compensation/rate to be discussed and agree upon prior to start. If you’d like to swing by to give me a quote, I’m happy to set that up.

Text only or email only please.

(The last 2 photos in the series is an example of the looking I’m going for)
